Coaching Background: Karly currently coaches within the Hartland Youth Lacrosse program. Karly has been coaching lacrosse and basketball for a majority of her athletic career. Karly has coached summer camps and youth teams for Cyclones lacrosse since 2012. Karly was the assistant coach at Cleary University from 2018-2019. After finishing her Masters of Engineering in 2022, Karly intends to commit to a high school program to continue coaching and developing lacrosse in the Midwest.
Playing Background: Beginning her athletic career in basketball, Karly won the State Championship four years in a row, 2005-2009; as well as the Nike National Championships in 2009. Later, Karly began her lacrosse career at Luke M. Powers Catholic High School. Since 2010, she has attained many accolades; most notably during her senior year at Powers: 1st team All-Catholic League, 2nd Team All-State, Team MVP and being awarded the Catholic League Player of the Year Scholarship. Karly continued her career at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, participating on the Club team. Karly helped the Wolverines finish 5th at the WCLA National Tournament. Karly finished her collegiate career at Cleary University where she became the school's leader in career assists and helped them make it further into the WHAC post-season tournament than they had previously. Karly remains a member of the US Lacrosse (since 2010) and takes advantage of all chances to play.
Academic Background: After graduating with top marks from Powers Catholic High School, Karly attended the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, where she graduated with a Liberal Arts Degree with specification in History and Business. Karly received her Masters of Business Administration from Cleary University. Karly received her associate degree in HVACR from Mott Community College. Karly has completed her Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree and is working to complete her Masters of Mechanical Engineering at Ferris State University.
Professional Experience: While continuing her education, Karly is the Vice President of Rolls Mechanical, a commercial and industrial mechanical contracting company specializing in HVACR, controls and plumbing.
